Job Description

To Supervise and handle a team of Claims Handlers in the best interests of the company by delivering a high quality cost effective claims service to customers and contribute to the delivery of the claims business goals within claims handling authorities
  • Serve as a key member of the Claims Handling Center of Excellence at Gallagher Service Center LLP.

  • Oversee technical operations monitor team progress support training efforts and ensure client satisfaction.

  • Supervise a small team of adjusters and manage an individual caseload as needed.

  • Manage work allocation balance workloads resolve queries and ensure delivery of key SLAs.

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of operational practices and people management.

  • Report claims handling metrics through dashboards and scorecards to track performance and identify improvement areas.

  • Conduct file reviews to assess quality identify coaching needs and implement corrective actions.

  • Address performance and behavioral issues collaboratively with staff and management.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and work closely with both internal and external departments.

  • Support new transitions map workflows develop SOPs and ensure compliance with process documentation.

  • 3 years of end-to-end claims handling experience across any line of business or geography (e.g. US UK ANZ).

  • Minimum 1 year of experience managing a team of claim adjusters/handlers.

  • In-depth knowledge of the complete claims handling process.

  • Recognized claims or policy certification is an added advantage.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Good negotiation and settlement skills.

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills for data interpretation.

  • Proactive solution-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Any Graduate (Bachelor s or Master s degree).

  • Open to working in any shift as per business requirements.
