Our client in the telecoms sector is seeking a Senior Business Analyst BSS & Enterprise Systems on a contract duration of 6 to 12 months.
Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in Business Support Systems (BSS) and Enterprise IT environments to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in bridging business needs with technology solutions ensuring that BSS platforms (billing CRM order management etc.) are aligned with strategic goals and operational requirements. This role is essential for supporting digital transformation initiatives and enabling seamless integration across enterprise applications.Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business or related field (Masters preferred).
- 7 years of Business Analysis experience with at least 3 years in telecom BSS domains (billing CRM mediation product catalog order management etc.).
- Experience working on enterprise-scale IT transformation projects including system integrations and migrations.
- Strong knowledge of telecom business processes and customer lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with BSS/OSS architecture and workflows.
- Experience with agile and hybrid delivery methodologies (Scrum SAFe or Kanban).
- Solid understanding of data analysis business process modeling (BPMN/UML) and reporting.
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA Confluence Visio Lucidchart and Excel.
- Excellent communication stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead requirement efforts on large-scale programs.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with vendors or platforms such as Amdocs Ericsson Huawei BSS Oracle BRM or Netcracker.
- Exposure to APIs microservices or integration platforms (e.g. MuleSoft Dell Boomi).
- Telecom domain certifications (eTOM TM Forum TOGAF) are a plus.
- Understanding of data governance and compliance frameworks (GDPR POPIA etc.).
