Job Description

We are looking to expand our service team by adding a Service Advisor. The right candidate for this position will enjoy working independently on daily tasks while providing exceptional customer service and support to all dealership guests. What youll do
As a Service Advisor you will be responsible for assisting guests in person and on the phone writing repair orders building estimates processing claims and reviewing documentation for accuracy.

Responsibilities include
- Writing repair orders for mechanical inspection and creating estimates for guests
- Work closely with VW shop technicians service manager and sales teams to ensure 5-star experiences for guests and peers
- Investigate recalls and check for active warranties within the customer database
- Coordinate vehicle returns and pickups when needed for guests
- Update guests on vehicle repair and diagnostic statuses
- Stay up-to-date on OEM certification programs
- Continuously evaluate and improve department policies and procedures with management support
- Maintain professional image and appearance
Qualifications
- Strong active listening skills and attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Computer literacy for cataloging and inventory
- Skilled knowledge of automobiles trucks and their systems
- Ability to work independently but also in a team setting
- Ability to prioritize workload and follow procedures/policies
- Reading and writing comprehension skills
- Oral and written communication skills
