Locum - Anesthesiology - CRNA

Job Title: Locum - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Join a collaborative anesthesia team at a respected Michigan hospital providing care across a full patient demographicfrom pediatrics to geriatrics. This is a supervised CRNA role with a strong focus on general surgical cases and opportunities to engage in neurosurgical procedures and spinal anesthesia.

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients
• Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases ensuring proper management of neurological status pre- and post-procedure
• Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical procedures
• Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout the surgical process
• Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision in a collaborative environment with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
• Maintain continuous patient monitoring throughout the perioperative phase (pre-op intra-op and post-op)
• Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and anesthesia records
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies procedural protocols and safety standards
• Work four (4) 10-hour shifts per week with no on-call duties required
• Operate within a hospital-based setting designated as a Level II Trauma Center
• Contribute to a daily volume of approximately 50 surgical cases
• Work alongside a team in multiple operating rooms with rotating assignments based on need
• Respond to emergencies and provide airway management including intubation if needed

Qualifications:

• Board Certified CRNA - REQUIRED
• Active MI license - REQUIRED
• Clean Background - REQUIRED
• ACLS & BLS through AHA - Required
• PALS - Required
• Must have 1 year CRNA experience - REQUIRED

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must hold an active CRNA license in the state of Michigan
• Current ACLS BLS and PALS certifications are mandatory
