Job Opportunity: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (Locum)

Join a leading healthcare facility in Detroit MI as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). We are in search of enthusiastic professionals to expand our dedicated anesthesia team.

Our facility offers a bustling hospital-based practice environment with a strong emphasis on trauma care as we are designated a Level 1 Trauma Center. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a collegial team in a supportive setting handling a diverse patient demographic.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia care for general surgical cases including adult and select pediatric cases.
• Oversee anesthesia management in MRI endoscopy interventional radiology and electrophysiology labs.
• Administer IV regional and spinal anesthesia as needed.
• Manage ventilation and placement of arterial and central lines.
• Collaborate within the ACT Care-Team model and engage appropriately with anesthesiologists during critical case intervals.
• Document patient care accurately using the Epic EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified CRNA (REQUIRED)
• Minimum of 1-year experience in a Level 1 trauma setting (clearly outlined in CV)
• Active Michigan license (REQUIRED)
• Clean background (REQUIRED)
• ACLS and BLS certifications through AHA (REQUIRED)
• PALS certification (REQUIRED)

License and Certification Requirements:

• BLS and ACLS through AHA (REQUIRED)
• Active Michigan nursing license (REQUIRED)
• Board Certification as a CRNA (REQUIRED)
