Job Description

Job Summary:

This role requires a certified MRI Technologist with at least two years of experience and pediatric expertise. The position involves independent work primarily Monday through Friday from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Experience with Magnet GE and Siemens equipment is preferred. First-time travelers are accepted. No weekend or on-call requirements exist. Floating to sister facilities is not required.
Location: Washington District of Columbia United States
Responsibilities:
- Performing MRI scans on pediatric patients.
- Maintaining and operating MRI equipment (Magnet GE Siemens preferred).
- Adhering to safety protocols and quality control measures.
- Preparing patients for scans and explaining procedures.
- Documenting scan results and patient information accurately.
- Working independently and efficiently.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist.
- Minimum of two years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
- Pediatric MRI experience.
- Ability to work independently.
- Active state license/certification (requirements vary by state).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Experience with Magnet GE and Siemens MRI equipment.
Special Considerations:
- No weekend or on-call requirements.
- Maximum 7-day consecutive work stretches; exceeding this requires an additional week off.
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
Scheduling:
- Monday - Friday 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM.
