Job Description
About you

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong expertise in UI automation (Selenium Cypress Playwright Cucumber POM) and API automation (Postman Rest Assured Karate DSL).
- Hands-on experience in mobile automation with Appium and other frameworks (Espresso XCUITest Detox).
- Familiarity with DevOps/QAOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions GitLab Jenkins Azure DevOps AWS).
- Solid knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases for test data management.
- Exposure to cloud device farms (BrowserStack Sauce Labs etc.) and low-code tools (Katalon TOSCA).
- ISTQB CTFL and Appium Certified Developer.
- Excellent problem-solving collaborative mindset and strong communication skills in English for direct client interaction.
- English is a requirement as you will be working directly with US-based clients.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
- Plan design execute and maintain manual and automated test scenarios.
- Identify opportunities for test automation in web API and mobile applications.
- Log and triage defects retest fixes and deliver clear reporting.
- Collaborate with developers and QA analysts to define and execute test automation strategies.
- Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders on test planning and execution.
- Monitor test progress ensure exit criteria are met and maintain QA metrics.
- Support the selection and integration of automation tools into CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications :
Knowledge of automation and agile methodologies (SCRUM) ISTQB certification (CFTL is a plus).
