Eastside Dental ClinicJob Summary
Denver Health Medical Center has an opportunity for a Dental Medical Director to join our team at our Eastside Dental clinic. This dental leader will work with executive staff ambulatory care center operations and our team at Eastside to direct and manage the day to day operations of our dental clinic. Denver Health employs Dentists Pediatric Dentists Oral Surgeons Registered Dental Hygienists residents and other key staff members to advance our mission of providing high quality dental services to our urban FQHC patient population.
Under minimal supervision diagnose prevent and treat problems with teeth or mouth tissue. Remove decay fill cavities examine x-rays place protective plastic sealants on childrens teeth straighten teeth and repair fractured teeth. Perform corrective surgery on gums and supporting bones to treat gum diseases. Extract teeth and make models and measurements for dentures to replace missing teeth. Provide instruction on diet brushing flossing the use of fluorides and other aspects of dental care. Administer anesthetics and write prescriptions for antibiotics and other medications.
