Job Description
Job Title: Locum Physician - Radiology - Diagnostic
Summary:
Join a vibrant healthcare facility in Sacramento CA where you will have the opportunity to work as a remote or onsite diagnostic Radiologist during the night shift. This role is ideal for a provider residing in California Colorado Michigan South Carolina or Florida. The facility is well-equipped and offers a full-time schedule with a supportive team environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret general diagnostic studies including MR CT US and X-Ray.
- Handle an average of 20-25 ultrasound studies and 25-30 CT/MR studies or 150-200 x-rays daily.
- Utilize the Cerner EMR system for patient documentation.
- Provide diagnostic services in the Hospital ED and inpatient settings.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.
- Maintain a clean malpractice history.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Radiology - Required.
- Active California medical license - Required.
- Experience in reading MR CT US and X-ray studies.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work nights and flexible schedule availability.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Radiology.
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
- Active California medical license.
