Overview
Metal Shop is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various machinery and a strong understanding of quality control processes. As a Machine Operator you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision.
Responsibilities
Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Utilize hand tools and electrical discharge machining techniques to perform necessary adjustments and repairs on machinery.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Adhere to safety protocols while operating cranes and other heavy equipment within the facility.
Document production processes and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
Experience
Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and standards is essential.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues independently are important for success in this role.
Pay Range:$18.50 per hour
