Summary


We are looking for a Gifting Account Manager. The ideal candidate is personable thoughtful and a natural leader. They have a passion for working with clients and developing creative gifting solutions encompassing a diverse array of in-person and virtual gifting suites luxury goods and promotional products. They have a natural interest and curiosity for design and product trends.


The Gifting Account Manager will manage client relationships through the gifting lifecycle. First they will lead discovery and brainstorming sessions with the client to determine overall goals. Then they will partner with internal team members and vendor partners to curate a thoughtful and comprehensive proposal. For some clients they will also propose and advise on the gifting experience. From there they will lead the client through the selection process including pricing confirmation proof approval and budget management. The Gifting Account Manager will lead client communication throughout the lifecycle facilitating meetings providing consistent updates and navigating challenges necessitating a poised influential communication style. The ability to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects and work in fast-paced environment that demands quick turnarounds are imperative to success.


Youll spend your days on the following:


Client Relations

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of each clients brands gifting strategies goals etc.
  • Master clients brand standards and integrate them into gifting strategy.
  • Advise clients and act as a consistent resource; address needs and inquiries ensuring their questions are answered promptly and appropriately.
  • Professionally deliver creative and strategic sales presentations (in-person and virtually) to new and existing clients.
  • Encourage positive client relations and satisfaction ratings by delivering the highest level of customer service.
  • Collaborate with team to conceptualize and provide solutions for client needs.
  • Develop new creative merchandising ideas.
  • Resell current business.

Project Management:

  • Develop and manage project plan and all associated parties throughout.
  • Communicate with client on project plan progress and gifting recommendations via phone email and face to face meetings.
  • Manage project budgets start to finish and make strategic financial decisions.
  • Source and manage vendors as needed; control contract negotiations quality on-time delivery and brand compliance.
  • Oversee product fulfillment for quality and accuracy.
  • Travel approximately 20 percent of the year long days/light lifting.

Other:

  • Participate in networking and/or tradeshow events as needed.
  • Understand industry terminology and pricing models.
  • Take active role in department and team meetings.
  • Lead or participate in brainstorming sessions.


What you need to be successful in this role:


  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field of study. 6 years experience in client-facing role. 5 years experience in promotional products industry.
  • Innate curiosity about the gifts industry and trend following
  • Able to prioritize and maintain many different projects at once
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Able to work with many different personalities and styles of work
  • Accurate and persuasive in all communication
  • Inherently positive and approachable
  • Resourceful and collaborative
  • Self-starter and solid work ethic
