The Manager of the Homeland Relationship Manager Team leads and supports a group of HRMs who build and maintain strategic relationships between Worldwide Homeland Operations and Homeland teams. This leader will ensure the teams work aligns with the Family History Departments purpose to unite families for eternity and our promise of enabling inspiring journeys that bring joy to all people as they discover gather and connect their familypast present and future. The HRM manager will model emotional intelligence collaborate across the department lead with the principles of the Leadership Pattern and create an environment where HRMs can thrive and deliver exceptional results.
- Provide day-to-day leadership coaching and mentorship to HRM team members fostering both professional and spiritual growth.
- Build a high-trust collaborative environment that values kindness respect and open communication.
- Promote team cohesion by facilitating collaboration knowledge sharing and cross-functional alignment.
- Ensure the well-being and development of each team member through regular one-on-ones feedback and career development planning.

- Oversee HRM team delivery on homeland project scheduling prioritization and execution.
- Ensure effective tracking of budgets timelines and project milestones.
- Support homeland operational strategies including the Family History Temple Support Plan.
- Represent the HRM team in leadership councils presenting progress challenges and recommendations to Senior Leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement in team workflows and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with homeland stakeholders and internal operational teams.
- Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution with diplomacy and fairness.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication across all levels of the organization.
- Coordinate with digital reproduction and publication teams to meet contract obligations and delivery .
Bachelors degree and eight years of experience or a masters degree with six years of experience and/or equivalent education and experience. - (Masters preferred) Including at least 3 years in leadership roles.
- Proven experience in managing teams and fostering high performance through emotional intelligence and coaching.
- Skilled in project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal oral and written communication skills with demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration.
- Data-driven decision-making ability with a track record of achieving measurable results.
- Familiarity with Family History and Genealogy preferred.
- Cultural awareness and experience in international contexts a plus.
- Must be a temple-worthy member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
