Job Description

On-Call Daily SubstitutesWillow Hill School is looking to add to our pool of daily substitutes. Founded in 1970 Willow Hill School provides a supportive and individualized educational program formiddle and high school students who are capable of advancing along a strong academic curriculum buthave experienced frustration in earlier school settings. Located in Sudbury MA our school consists ofstudents in grades 6 through and Responsibilities:The on-call substitutes will be assigned to cover classes for various teachers at Willow Hill on an as needed basis. Duties include:Follow and deliver lesson plans provided by the classroom teacherMaintain a safe orderly and respectful classroom environmentManage student behavior using school-approved policies and strategiesSupervise students in classrooms hallways and other school settings as neededUphold all school policies procedures and confidentiality requirementsDesired Qualifications and Skills:Previous experience directly serving children with learning differences or other special needs in a school setting preferredStrong communication organizational and classroom management skillsAbility to adapt quickly to different grade levels subjects and classroom environmentsAbility to organize and manage multiple prioritiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills A problem solverFor those interested please contact Colleen Morris Chief Finance Officer at
