Henry Ford Medical Center - Fairlane in Dearborn MI is seeking full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to become part of our dedicated team. With a focus on partnering with nearly 2 million individuals on their health journey our facility offers a robust and supportive environment nestled in metro Detroit.

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer intravenous inhalation and regional anesthetics for various procedures.
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with the anesthesia team to develop the anesthesia care plan.
• Provide airway management and intubation as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all procedures performed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
• Support the professional development of colleagues and assistive personnel.
• Enhance the work environment by promoting professional communication and teamwork.
• Engage in community outreach and professional organization activities.
• Educate patients families and staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
• Active Michigan Nursing and Specialty Licenses.
• At least 2 years of CRNA experience (not inclusive of RN or training).
• Up-to-date COVID and flu vaccinations or willingness to obtain.
• Current BLS ACLS and PALS certifications or willingness to obtain.
• Clean malpractice and license history.
• Familiarity with EMR systems specifically EPIC.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must possess an active Michigan Nursing License.
• Current certification from the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
• DEA and CSR/CDS numbers must be obtained prior to starting.
• COVID and flu vaccinations are required unless medical or religious exemptions apply.
