Job Description

Join Our Anesthesia Team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Jackson MI!

About the Facility: Our healthcare facility has been proudly serving the south central Michigan community for over 100 years. We are currently seeking full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to become a part of our dedicated team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide anesthesia services for patients across all age groups including infants adolescents adults and geriatrics.
  • Coordinate peri-operative patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Work in a Trauma Level II facility with a mix ofhour day shifts with opportunities to transition to longer shifts.
  • Minimal on-call responsibilities while maintaining a high degree of autonomy.
  • Handle moderate physical activity and occasionally manage objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems specifically EPIC.
  • Participate in ongoing training and adhere to safety precautions while working with potentially dangerous materials.
  • Foster a supportive environment that promotes skill growth and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
  • Completion of an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient care.
  • Experience with both adolescent and geriatric patients is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach to patient care.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Must possess active Michigan Nursing and Specialty Licenses (or be willing to obtain).
  • Current certifications in BLS ACLS and PALS (or willing to obtain).
  • Up-to-date COVID and Flu vaccinations required prior to starting.
  • Clean malpractice and license history are mandatory.
  • DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to starting.
  • Visa support available for J1 or H1B candidates.
