Perm - Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics
Join our dedicated healthcare team at a state-of-the-art clinic located in the heart of Clinton Iowa. This full-time position offers the opportunity to build a Family Practice with OB/GYN services ensuring a supportive environment that values quality family time and a balanced lifestyle. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive family medicine with obstetrics services.
- Perform C-sections and manage low to high-risk pregnancies.
- Participate in a predictable 1:4 call schedule that emphasizes work-life balance.
- Offer quality coordinated care alongside specialists in urology podiatry surgery cardiology and more.
- Utilize advanced medical equipment including on-site ultrasound technology.
- Maintain documentation in our Cerner EMR system in the hospital and eClinicalWorks in the clinic.
- Collaborate with a supportive team of medical professionals including OB nurse practitioners and specialized physicians.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible (plans to become Board Certified within one year) or Board Certified in Family Medicine.
- OB Fellowship-trained (completed prior to start date).
- Ability to perform C-sections is essential.
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Iowa medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine.
- OB Fellowship-trained before start of employment.
