Job Description
Permanent Position: Non-Invasive Cardiologist
Join an established and reputable cardiology practice dedicated to providing exceptional cardiovascular care in the beautiful Saratoga Springs New York. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Fellowship trained Board Certified or Board Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiology physician to be part of a team with strong patient demand and advanced technology right in the community.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care in Non-Invasive Cardiology offering treatment in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Exhibit strong clinical and communication skills while fostering a patient-centered approach to care.
- Work in a hospital-employed capacity splitting time 50/50 between hospital and clinics.
- Participate in on-call duties typically 1 weeknight per week and a weekend rotation of 1:5.
- Collaborate with an experienced medical staff of seven board-certified cardiologists and five advanced practitioners.
- Utilize state-of-the-art technology to conduct various cardiology procedures including ultrasonography pacemaker insertion and nuclear cardiology.
- Support and participate in community outreach programs promoting cardiovascular health.
- Open to new graduates as well as experienced candidates.
Qualifications:
- Fellowship-trained in Cardiology.
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine (REQUIRED).
- Board Eligible in Cardiology (within 5 years of eligibility and actively working toward BC) or Board Certified in Cardiology (REQUIRED).
- New York State Medical License (or willingness to obtain) (REQUIRED).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Fellowship-trained in Cardiology (must be completed prior to start).
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine - REQUIRED.
- Board Eligibility in Cardiology - REQUIRED.
- Active New York License or the ability to obtain one.
