City Fitness is looking for a fitness professional to effectively manage the growth and performance of our Studio Fitness program. Responsibilities include maximizing the group fitness attendance member retention club profitability and new member integration. Successful candidates will be able to provide statistically-driven insight be technological savvy and demonstrate sound judgment.
This is a leadership position that supervises the 1 of the 3 fitness studios across all City Fitness locations. This is a hands-on role that operates in a fast-paced cross-functional working environment. This position requires advanced critical thinking exemplary tasks execution and the confidence to lead staff peers and senior leadership. This individual must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently perform under pressure and handle confidential matters with discretion.

Supervisory Role
This position serves as the first line of management and the immediate supervisor to the program specific instructors within the department. The managerial focus of this role is to manage the department specific day-to-day tasks through staff accountability training & development and departmental performance metrics.
Position Type & Hours
This is a Full-time position that requires a minimum of 40 scheduled hours per workweek. Work hours are a combination of on-site admin and remote work. Unless otherwise specified expected days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm. At times this role may require weekend work and/or inconsistency in scheduling as job duties staffing demands or special projects require.
Work Environment
This position operates in a both professional office setting and in a gym/fitness center environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers tablets phones photocopiers filing cabinets and scanners. Managers must be computer literate and comfortable working with a multitude of computer software and information systems. This position requires frequent work with various types of fitness equipment and is frequently in an environment where noise levels vary from quiet while in the office and loud when in a facility.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. At times this position requires hands-on physical activity. Managers must have a high degree of energy be physically fit and have the endurance to complete the fitness offerings that fall within the program.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
