The Opportunity: Trust Estates Paralegal

The firm iscurrently seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Trust & Estates Paralegal to join our dynamic team. Job Description:
  • Assist attorneys with drafting and preparing estate planning documentation including wills trusts powers of attorney trust resolutions and agreements.
  • Coordinate and manage beneficiary correspondence and related matters.
  • Provide support in the administration of estates including probate filings asset transfer documentation and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and file gift tax returns and assist with other tax-related matters.
  • Collaborate with clients and external parties to facilitate the resolution of estate and trust issues.
  • Maintain and organize case files ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Serve as a notary for necessary legal documents as required.
Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience supporting Trust Estates attorneys and/or practice groups.
  • Advanced knowledge of estate planning processes probate matters and trust administration.
  • Expertise in preparing and managing documents such as wills trusts and powers of attorney.
  • Strong proficiency with gift tax preparation and asset transfer documentation.
  • Exceptional organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
