We are looking for a Mold Process Technician a skilled individual responsible for the efficient and cost effective operation of the injection molding machines and the smooth operation of the shift in the absence of the Assembly Supervisor or Team Lead.
What You Will Do
- All tooling is installed correctly and safely in the molding machines.
- That the correct programs are loaded for each production run.
- That each machine is producing acceptable parts before turning the machine over to the operators.
- That the mold room meets the production deadlines within cost estimates.
- Ensures that the quality assurance is maintained within acceptable standards.
- Assists in the training of new operators
- Any new processes are documented or stored to memory on the machines.
- Shall be familiar with the Southmedic Quality System mission and values.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
- Supervise the safe operation of the shift during weekend hours or in the absence of full time supervision.
What We Need
- Must have 5 years experience within an injection molding manufacturing environment.
- Supervisory experience
- Experience with process validation would be considered an asset
Experience with Nissei Engel and Battenfield injection molding machines would be considered an asset
- Excellent organizational skills
Good problem solving ability.
