This recruitment will be used to establish an eligibility l ist for bothMonthly & Substitute Classroom Assistant - Bilingual (English/Spanish) Opportunities.
This recruitment will be used to establish an Eligibility List for the current vacancy shown belowas well as any future vacancies.This list will be active forthree (3) months with the possibility to be extended.

BASIC FUNCTION:
The Classroom Assistant will provide assistance to the instructional program in school classrooms and resource centers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
High School diploma/GED and a passing score on the San Diego Unified School District Classroom Assistant Proficiency Exam (CAPE) or an Associates degree (or higher) or 48 or more eligible units of coursework at a recognized college or university. Completion of post high school courses in Psychology Early Childhood Development Elementary Education Special Education or related field is desirable.
