Job Description Summary
The Director College Marketing is the key leader for College-wide marketing internal communications and media relations. The position provides leadership vision strategy and oversees execution across marketing disciplines in a fast-paced collaborative environment.Job Description
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan and budget that supports the Colleges mission and strategic directions.
Direct the Colleges advertising for college image enhancement and lead generation including those involving digital social television radio mobile outdoor print and other media.
Recommend monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across marketing channels to assess effectiveness and drive continuous improvements.
Develop dashboards and regular reports for monitoring marketing performance and optimizing ROI collaborating closely with the VP-Student Success and the Director of Enrollment Management.
Oversee the management of the overall digital experience and customer experience strategies on college websites integrated digital platforms and other marketing technology to facilitate high levels of engagement and conversions and to achieve marketing goals and priorities.
Oversee the production of marketing materials including creative assets website updates and collateral ensuring on-time delivery for effective marketing campaigns.
Partner with Student Services and Instructional leadership to improve prospecting admissions and enrollment effectiveness and other key college enterprise level processes and systems.
Oversee college-wide event planning and execution for key enrollment generation events.
Manage the College brand image and market positioning including design standards and logo usage to maintain a consistent and professional image that continues to be relevant to the colleges various targeted populations and constituents.
Assure brand and message consistency in key communication vehicles that inform community constituencies of the offerings and activities of the college across platforms (web email digital mobile social media print and broadcast media) to facilitate a positive and effective customer experience.
Provide B2C and B2B marketing and media strategic consulting to others within the organization to ensure brand and messaging consistency.
Oversee the Colleges media relations efforts including an integrated effort that communicates the Colleges value to our community through media partners script writing and messaging.
Oversee the Colleges internal communications plan.
Internally drive the development and integration of college marketing systems and processes including working with IT staff to foster digital transformation and improve digital customer experience.
Oversee the development and management of an effective college website that meets consumer standards drives demand generation and provides an exceptional customer experience.
Oversee marketing business processes and systems including decisions about in-house versus agency or outsourced services. Engage and lead consultants and agency representatives to develop and implement analytical promotional recruitment and image enhancement activities as needed.
Inspire team members to push boundaries discover new approaches test new tools and take calculated risks to produce high-impact results.
Lead the internal FVTC Marketing Council and represent FVTC at the WTCS Statewide Marketing Consortium. Initiate and participate in appropriate committees.
Provide critical review and feedback on strategy and processes that market college services and image.
Actively participate in professional and community organizations and function as appropriate.
Bachelors degree in marketing/public relations communications or related field
Six to seven years experience leading and managing marketing for a large organization with superior ability to recruit retain and motivate the team and future talent.
Demonstrated track record of development and execution of innovative strategies to meet short- and long-term objectives.
Entrepreneurial self-starter who can handle multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion effectively in a high-energy environment.
Must be completed primarily in person with occasional opportunity to work remotely.
Sitting: This role requires extended periods of sitting while performing tasks and utilizing computer systems.
Mobility: While much of the work is desk-based occasional mobility may be necessary for attending meetings office tours or events within the workplace.
Repetitive Motions: Capacity to perform repetitive motions such as typing without discomfort or injury.
Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with employees candidates and stakeholders both in-person and through electronic means.
Travel: Position may require travel to other College locations and travel for professional development.

Additional Information
Pay Rate: $109100 - $128300 per year.
Pay is based on a multitude of factors including experience qualifications education relevant certifications internal equity and market data. Note: Internal applicants wage will be based upon the applicable compensation guidelines.
