Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Enterprise Architect Institutional Client Services position! This is a 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.


Position Overview

As an Enterprise Architect for Institutional Client Services (ICS) you will shape the organizations technology strategy and roadmap. This role acts as an integrator across business and technology domains advising senior leaders and driving the architecture of complex initiatives. Youll ensure scalability compliance and resiliency across solutions that are critical to the banks long-term success.


What Youll Be Doing:

  • Define and evolve enterprise architecture strategies and roadmaps that align with business priorities regulatory requirements and long-term technology vision.
  • Develop high-level architectural models and frameworks that support secure scalable and resilient solutions across complex financial ecosystems.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable solution architectures providing clear direction to delivery and engineering teams.
  • Ensure solutions comply with financial industry regulations risk frameworks and data privacy standards supporting auditability and operational integrity.
  • Partner with business leaders product owners and technology teams to ensure architectural alignment across client services digital platforms and core banking systems.
  • Provide architectural oversight and governance throughout the solution delivery lifecycle ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and successful execution of initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management providing expert advice and insights to support decision-making.
  • Communicate complex architectural concepts clearly and persuasively to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with external technology providers and partners to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for performance cost-effectiveness and agility.


What Youll Need to Have:

  • 7 years in cloud architecture with 3 years focused on Azure hybrid environments.
  • Proficiency with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF Zachman).
  • Strong knowledge of financial services domains particularly institutional banking/wealth management.
  • Skilled in solution design integration and ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cloud microservices APIs data platforms integration patterns and data governance.
  • Experience with architecture diagramming practices and enterprise architecture tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and bridge technical and business discussions.
  • Experience driving innovation and large-scale transformation initiatives within financial services.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity drive consensus and support organizational change.
  • Familiarity with agile DevOps and product-centric delivery models.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Engineering or related field.


Pay Range:$60-$75/hr
