Job Summary
Job Title: Locum Physician - Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine
Join a dedicated team focused on serving our nations Veterans! This opportunity provides a unique mix of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury evaluations all while you operate in an established practice environment. Our organization is committed to improving the lives of Veterans through comprehensive assessments and care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform evaluations that are primarily interview-based with a mix of physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Complete and submit Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) promptly after exams.
- Engage in record reviews and maintain clear communication during follow-up administrative tasks.
- Utilize a laptop for documentation (Windows only; no MACs).
- Train for and obtain DMA certification as required.
- Participate in occasional travel to assist with cases in other locations if needed.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Neurology Neurosurgery or PM&R.
- Proficient in METs testing and diagnosing respiratory cardiovascular and neurological conditions.
- Current unrestricted medical license in New Jersey.
- Willingness to complete DMA training and maintain certification.
- Owned laptop (Windows OS not Mac).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Board Certification in appropriate specialty.
- New Jersey medical license (non-compact).
- DMA certification is required post-privileging.
