Opportunity
We are actively seeking an experienced Sales and Parts Interpreter superstar to join our welcoming and supportive team in our Midvale Branch. As one of our Sales and Parts Interpreters you will be responsible for accurately entering and coordinating sales orders and liaising with the sales team to communicate delivery timeline expectations for Normet customers.

Key responsibilities
Provide sales quotations of goods to customers
Manage spare parts sales and inquiries on our national support hotline
Prepare sales orders to confirm spare parts orders
Coordinate purchase order authorisation with the head office as required
Source and procure non-genuine spare parts when necessary ensuring compliance with quality and pricing standards
Frequently check sales orders to ensure pricing accuracy and follow up on outstanding orders as needed
Provide timely and accurate sales order confirmations to customers
Complete business and back-order reporting accurately and within deadlines
Collaborate with management workshop and sales teams to establish sales forecasts and address future production supply needs
Oversee production jobs ensuring efficient workflow and operational accuracy by opening monitoring managing and closing these tasks
Ensure customer satisfaction in relation to spare parts sales and inquiries with all relevant information accurately captured in D365
Leverage D365 data management tools to plan and meet customer delivery expectations.
Ensure full and timely sales delivery (DIFOT) by effectively managing data and collaborating with the sales team on delivery requirements
Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to identify needs and recommend suitable spare parts solutions
Support the sales team by identifying and promoting upselling opportunities.
To shine in this position you will need
2-3 years experience in Parts Interpreter or Spare Parts Administrator role or similar. Preferably with a heavy machine focus.
Experience with ERP systems is essential; proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly regarded
Solid experience in the processing of purchase and sales orders
Ability to interpret spare parts manuals and drawings
High-level of organisation problem analysis and problem-solving skills
Highly organised flexible and proactive with a positive can do attitude
Self-driven and results orientated with the ability to influence others and implement change
Able to perform in a highly agile and changing work environment
Ability to achieve results and work under pressure
To be available to be part of the Call Back Roster
Full working rights in Australia is essential in order to be considered for this position.
The successful candidate must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance before commencement.
