Position Summary:
The Custodian cleans the company facility and provides a sanitary comfortable work environment.
Ideal candidate:
- Authorized to work in United States without requiring sponsorship
- Ability to work 2nd Shift hours 2:30pm-11:00pm Monday-Friday
- Ability to work weekends/overtime if necessary
Responsibilities
- Maintains the facility in sanitary condition through washing cleaning and replacement of equipment and furnishings
- Applies cleaning solutions and chemicals to surfaces
- Empties trash containers and disposes of debris appropriately
- Sweeps and vacuums floors
- Cleans stains from carpets and upholstery
- Damp-dusts furniture light fixtures window sills and other surfaces
- Cleans bathrooms including toilets wash basins and mirrors
- Identifies and reports needed repairs
- Washes windows
- Replenishes supplies such as cafeteria and bathroom items
- Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifukuspolicies and procedures.
- Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to follow instructions
- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Great communication skills
- Detail-oriented
