Job Description

Your role will be to own and drive all mechanical aspects of a camera depth module from concept to mass production. You will create the CAD design 2D drawings and tolerance analysis for components and assemblies. You will engage with our overseas mechanical vendors review DFM feedback and approve inspection reports. As dimensional data becomes available during the NPI cycle you will analyze the data to show trends and identify possible areas of concern.


  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience
  • 2 years of CAD experience
  • Experience with GD&T design
  • Experience with dimensional tolerance analysis
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment


  • Opto-mechanical or optical design experience
  • Electro-mechanical design experience such as working with EEs on PCB and flex layouts
  • Thermal dissipation design experience
  • Design experience for high-volume mass production
  • Statistical analysis experience using JMP or MATLAB
  • Reliability testing experience
  • Knowledge of FEA inputs and the ability to interpret results
  • Experience in iterating on proven designs and pushing to find incremental modifications to improve year-over-year performance
