Save the Children International has an exciting opportunity for a Relocation Coordinator part-time 0.6 FTEto join our global team.

Team and Job Purpose

The Relocation Coordinator will play a key on-site role in supporting the closure of SCIs London Orange Street office and the transition to a new shared workspace. Working closely with the Head of People Operations and the Country Transition Lead this role demands a high level of organisation pro-activity and autonomous working. The Relocation Coordinator will engage with a wide range of stakeholders and staff from building facilities management to senior leadership ensuring clear communication professional engagement and operational excellence throughout the relocation process.

Job Title: Relocation Coordinator part-time 0.6 FTE

Reports To: Head of People Operations with dotted line management to Country Transition Lead

Contract Length: 2 months; start date 2nd September 2025 (with possibility for extension)

Grade:S2

Location: London Orange Street Office (on-site).

Time Zone(that the role holder mustbe available to work in): UK time with working hours 9:00 am - 5:00 pm from Tuesday to Thursday (3 days per week)

Right to Work: The successful candidate must possess the unrestricted right to work in United Kingdom for the duration of employment.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Manage the coordination mailbox ensuring all communications related to the office relocation are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Support staff with on-site queries providing clear guidance to ensure a seamless transition and engaging with a diverse range of staff and needs.
  • Assist the Country Transition Lead in administrative and coordination tasks embodying a spirit of proactive initiative to support the efficient execution of the office relocation plan (e.g. communication with staff to ensure timely completion of emptying of cupboards/lockers)
  • Collaborate with the People team Executive Assistant to facilitate HR-related aspects of the relocation demonstrating professionalism and compliance in managing sensitive information.
  • Engage with security and facilities management teams to ensure a safe and compliant environment during the transition and adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Manage and oversee the physical sorting boxing and disposal of files/materials ensuring that records are handled with confidentiality and in line with SCI data protection policies.
  • Coordinating with various external suppliers to efficiently manage purchase orders process invoices and relocation activities.

Experience and Skills

Essential

1. Organisational and Coordination Skills:

  • Experience in managing a group mailbox efficiently ensuring prompt and effective communication.
  • Capable of overseeing multiple tasks simultaneously with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively.

2. Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear guidance and support staff with queries.
  • Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with a diverse range of people across internal and external stakeholders.

3. Technical Proficiency:

  • Proven working proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word Outlook and SharePoint.

4. Problem Solving and Initiative:

  • Takes a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrates initiative and can work independently driving tasks to successful completion.

5. Project Management:

  • Skilled in assisting with project administrative tasks to support efficient execution and collaboration.

6. Compliance and Professionalism:

  • Commitment to handling sensitive information with professionalism and compliance.

7. Vendor Management:

  • Experience in coordinating with external suppliers managing purchase orders and processing invoices efficiently.

Desirable

  • Prior experience coordinating an office relocation project
