About the role

An exciting part time career opportunity has arisen for an energetic practitioner to join Barnets Child and Family Early Help Service. This 12 month fixed term contract (3 days per week) will lead on the effective delivery of the Governments vision of Best Start Family Hubs. The successful applicant will lead and coordinate strategic partnerships across Barnet ensuring integrated accessible and responsive services for families with children aged 0-5.

The post holder will lead the development and delivery of partnership strategies aligned with the Best Start vision and work with parents to ensure the service works effectively. They will be the key liaison between the Family hub and external stakeholders and coordinate multi-agency working groups.

About you

We are looking for:

  • A practitioner who has experience of relating to adults children and young people positively both as individuals and in groups.
  • A practitioner who has experience of working communicating and interacting with a wide variety of people and/or working within community-based services.
  • A practitioner who has proven experience in partnership development and coordination within childrens services early years or community settings.
  • A practitioner who has the ability to deal with sensitive issues manage conflicting views and expectations and cope with unpredictable issues and behaviours
