Job Title: Director Strategic Accounts Data Center & AI
Reports To: Vice President & General Manager Data Center & AI Business
Job Type: Full-Time Permanent $180 - 210k plus bonus & benefits
Position Summary: The Director Strategic Accounts Data Center & AI is a senior commercial leader responsible for driving growth within the hyperscale data center and AI infrastructure market. This individual will lead all aspects of customer development and strategic account expansion across a portfolio of high-value customers in the tech sector. Reporting directly to the VP/GM of the business unit the role is focused on delivering top-line growth customer satisfaction and long-term strategic partnerships in alignment with the business units aggressive growth goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned customers within the Data Center & AI vertical.
- Build and maintain deep multi-level relationships with key customer stakeholders.
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver a seamless One Vantedge experience.
- Lead recurring business reviews focused on service delivery quality and growth.
- Own customer contract negotiations in partnership with Legal Finance and the VP/GM.
- Manage customer escalations and ensure timely resolution.
Strategic Planning & Market Development
- Develop and execute Strategic Account Growth Plans.
- Provide voice-of-customer insight on trends opportunities and expansions.
- Support demand planning with forecast inputs and revenue alignment.
Business Development
- Lead business development efforts for hyperscale AI infrastructure and OEMs.
- Position Vantedge s capabilities in sheet metal fabrication and assembly.
- Collaborate to create compelling customer-specific proposals.
- Lead pricing and proposal development aligned to market/margin goals.
- Facilitate customer awareness events like tech fairs and roadshows.
- Maintain CRM accuracy and pipeline visibility.
- Represent Vantedge at trade shows and industry events.
New Product Introduction & Sustaining Support
- Partner through the full lifecycle of new programs.
- Ensure strong two-way communication across teams.
- Support NPI reviews and project health updates commercially.
Qualifications:
- 10 years in strategic account management or business development in data center AI infrastructure or related tech sectors.
- Proven ability to manage large accounts and deliver sustained growth.
- Bachelor s degree in Business Engineering or related field (Master s preferred).
- Familiarity with contract manufacturing and high-volume component environments.
- Strong communication analytical and presentation skills.
- CRM experience (Salesforce HubSpot).
- Up to 75% travel required.
