Job Description
We are looking for an Accountant to join our clients team.
Salary and Benefits:
- Negotiable
Responsibilities:
- Detailed income and expenditure statement.
- Production of Daily Sales Pack.
- Weekly Debtors and Creditors reports
- Custody Approval and Posting of adjustment Journals
- Custody and disbursement of bulk payments
- Daily preparation of expenditure actual and forecast cash flows
- Production of cash flows for every cash book (every transaction currency)
- Preparation of budgets .
- Costing of all products.
- Maintenance and updating of the fixed asset register.
- Maintenance of petty cash floats and reimbursement.
- Receiving all cash payments and banking.
- Raising and posting all duly authorised nominal journals into the system.
- Supervise and review all work done by all clerks.
- Production of Management Accounts and Reporting (with supporting schedules)
- Statutory payments-Computation and Remittance (VAT PAYE QPDs)
Key Skills:
- Numerical Skills: Must have a meticulous detail-oriented eye.
- Organisation: Must be highly organized in order to juggle multiple clients meet deadlines and follow proper reporting guidelines
- Time management: Ability to multitask and effectively manage and meet deadlines
- Able to work under minimum supervision and with more than 5 years of experience in handling Taxes and Payroll.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounts or Finance.
- Added advantage a postgraduate professional qualification like CISACCACITMA or any related.
