Position Overview
Industrial Systems Consulting is seeking four experienced Interim HR Generalists to provide hands-on human resources support for client organizations during transitional periods. Two positions will be assigned to a leading contracting/construction services company in Gillette WY while two will support a healthcare provider organization in Gillette WY. Each HR Generalist will serve as a contractor through ISC and act as a key partner to business leaders employees and HR teams in ensuring compliance efficiency and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities (All Positions)
- Provide day-to-day HR support serving as a resource for employees and managers on policies procedures and best practices.
- Administer core HR processes including onboarding offboarding employee relations performance management benefits and compliance.
- Support recruitment interviewing and selection processes to ensure timely staffing.
- Maintain and update HR records employee files and HRIS data to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with employee relations investigations and conflict resolution in compliance with company policy and applicable laws.
- Support training and development initiatives compliance programs and employee engagement activities.
- Advise managers on HR-related matters ensuring alignment with labor laws company policies and workplace best practices.
- Partner with payroll and benefits teams to resolve employee inquiries and ensure smooth processes.
- Assist in HR project work as assigned (policy rollouts system updates reporting etc.).
Industry-Specific Focus
Contracting/Construction Company (2 roles Gillette WY)
- Support HR compliance with OSHA and other workplace safety requirements.
- Assist with field employee issues including scheduling timekeeping certifications and union/non-union labor considerations.
- Partner with operations leadership on workforce planning for projects.
Healthcare Company (2 roles Gillette WY)
- Ensure HR compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA Joint Commission etc.).
- Support clinical and non-clinical staff with credentialing scheduling and training requirements.
- Partner with nursing clinical operations and administrative leaders to address staffing challenges and retention.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field preferred; HR certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP) a plus.
- 3 years of HR Generalist experience (healthcare or contracting/construction industry experience strongly preferred depending on placement).
- Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Strong interpersonal problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Assignment Details
- Contract role through Industrial Systems Consulting.
- Duration: Interim (expected 3 6 months with possible extension).
- Location: Based in Gillette WY open to onsite remote or hybrid arrangements for all roles.
