The State of South Carolina is looking for - Information Systems Architect - Advanced Why is this position open: This is a RE-BID Max Bill Rate: $$$/hour Will close to submissions on 8/21/2025 5:00PM EST. Interview Process: Interviews will take place via MICROSOFT TEAMS WITH CAMERA ON. Scheduling as soon as possible after the posting closes. Be prepared to show ID on camera to be documented. Casual attire is permitted. Duration of the Contract: 12 Months Possibility for Extension: Yes Work Location: 100% Remote Candidate Location: Must reside within the US for the duration of the contract and be willing to travel to SC as deemed necessary Full job description is in the attached file. Working hours need to remain flexible within 40 hours per week on-call and weekend work required occasionally. Main working hours are 8am- 5pm Monday - Friday. Additional details: Key duties and Responsibilities Extensive knowledge/skills of the Health-IT industry which includes multi-tiered architectures enterprise applications evaluation of emerging technologies networks data management systems enterprise security and hardware systems as they relate to Electronic Health Records Health Information Exchanges and Electronic Medication Administration Records. Ability to plan organize direct and review the work of technical personnel. Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with clients technical staff management vendors and others. Extensive knowledge of the principles and techniques of planning programs and work activities in a technical environment. Required Skills 10 years experience working with Electronic Health Records 5 years experience with using Nextgen EHR PM and EDR Nextgen Certification Experience with ICD-9/ICD-10 5 Health care specific data interface standards and health information exchange technologies Preferred Skills Experience with SQL Experience with Crystal Reports eMAR Mirth PACsCIPS/Fusion or Merge Experience with HL7 Education Requirement BACHELORS DEGREE
