Position: Pharmacist Assistant
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a full-time Pharmacist Assistant to join our team at Water Tower Group. This role will primarily support our pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing exceptional customer service to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Process and fill prescriptions in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate and organized records of medications and inventory
- Answer phone calls and address customer inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure proper medication coverage for patients
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and guidelines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and guidelines
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
