We are looking for an enthusiastic customer focussed and digitally confident individual to join our library teams.

What Youll Be Doing:
As a Library Assistant youll support the delivery of a high-quality library and information service. This includes:
- Assisting customers with accessing digital resources and information.
- Supporting in the planning and delivery of events (e.g. author events class visits)
You will be appointed to a library base(s) but there will be an expectation that you will work at other libraries as of work range from 7 to 37 hours per week. Please see attachments for rotas.

Our ideal person will be welcoming and friendly have a love for reading and be passionate about sharing this. You will have excellent communication and digital skills be able to work with a range of stakeholders and be able to deliver a customer focused service.

This position is part time please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent the salary received will be paid on a prorata basis.
