About the Position:
The Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach Administration in Public and Nonprofit Organizations a foundational course in the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program.
This graduate-level course introduces the field of Public Administration and its intellectual foundations. Designed as a broad survey course it emphasizes breadth over depth with many topics explored in greater detail in other required or elective addition to introducing students to key literature and building a foundational knowledge base the course develops essential professional skills aligned with MPA program goals including analytic writing verbal group and presentation skills.
Adjunct faculty are hired on a part-time semester-by-semester basis contingent upon program needs and student demand.
