Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to perform comprehensive mental health evaluations. Our ideal candidate will evaluate functional impairments related to mental health and prepare a report that will be used as part of the process to evaluate the disabled individuals application for Social Security benefits. This is an on-site role ranging between 1-2 days per month with travel opportunities available to other locations.Compensation ranges from $65 to $90 per unit for Mental Status Exams (MSEs).
Responsibilities:
- Psychological Evaluations: Perform mental status exams (MSEs) to determine the impact of mental health on disability claims.
- Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessment of patients mental health status including their emotional cognitive and behavioral functioning.
- Report Creation: Create a comprehensive report including accurate and complete descriptions of the applicants mental health condition(s).
- Data Submission: Utilize our user-friendly report generation platform to submit your report quickly and easily.
Qualifications:
- Valid Psychiatric-Mental Health NP license and certification (PMHNP-BC).
- Completion of a masters degree in nursing.
- Proven experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
