Where does this role fit in
Youll report to the Finance Director and be a key member of the financial leadership team. Youll line manage the Corporate Accountant Financial Transactions Manager Financial Systems Project Lead and Rent & Service Charge Manager and work closely with internal teams and external partners such as auditors and tax advisors.
What skills and experience do you need
Youll need to be a qualified accountant with experience in financial reporting controls and statutory accounts. Experience managing a finance team and working with complex financial information is important. You should be confident communicating with different stakeholders and able to organise and prioritise work effectively. Knowledge of financial systems reconciliations and month end processes is useful. Experience in social housing or service charges is a bonus but not essential. Above all you should be practical collaborative and motivated to lead a high-performing team.
