Job Description
Position: IT Specialist
Location: Belgrade Serbia
Employment type: Full-time
Remuneration: Base salary bonuses (including accommodation)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and maintain hardware and software systems using diagnostic tools and logs to ensure continuous high-quality service.
- Respond to incoming IT support requests focusing on critical infrastructure such as servers network devices and user systems.
- Assist in testing new applications and systems prior to deployment.
- Work closely with development network and operations teams to ensure seamless technical functionality across the organization.
- Maintain operational servers and related equipment to ensure smooth service delivery addressing technical issues promptly.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems in coordination with team leads and other support staff.
- Replace or repair faulty hardware and software as needed.
- Configure and maintain user workstations and manage access permissions.
- Update documentation and follow internal processes to handle incidents within defined service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain accurate IT inventory records assign and track equipment and conduct periodic audits.
- Coordinate with external vendors to resolve equipment or service issues with minimal disruption.
- Enhance IT infrastructure to meet organizational needs.
- Perform regular hardware/software maintenance and ensure compliance with information security standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Native or fluent in English (C1 level) with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or a related technical role.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in IT or related fields preferred.
- Proficiency in supporting and troubleshooting Windows and/or Linux environments.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration.
- Experience with hardware and software installation configuration and repair.
- Familiarity with networking concepts Wi-Fi management and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends in a 24/7 environment.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA Microsoft Cisco).
- Experience with streaming or broadcasting equipment.
