The MRO and Services Manager is responsible for executing the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and Services business plan across Sub-Equatorial Africa and South Africa.
This role ensures the effective implementation of strategic initiatives driving operational excellence customer satisfaction and profitable growth.
- Execute the regional MRO & Services business plan to achieve orders sales and profitability targets (PM & CM).
- Ensure effective implementation of corporate and regional strategies in collaboration with local teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key end-users and internal stakeholders.
- Identify and engage potential customers to understand and meet their service needs.
- Lead the execution of business initiatives in alignment with global and regional directives. Support and guide sales teams and partner networks to deliver on business objectives.
- Lead and manage a team and provide coaching performance management and development opportunities for team members.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the inquiry-to-invoice process ensuring timely and competitive proposals.
- Manage the order-to-invoice process through a team of order handlers.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in all regional operations.
- Collaborate in a matrix organization with the MEIA MAS (MRO and Services) leader.
Requirements for the position
- Strong technical orientation with in-depth knowledge of valves pumps and automation systems.
- Proven ability to execute business plans and deliver measurable results.
- Demonstrated people management skills including team leadership coaching and conflict resolution.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and time management capabilities.
- High level of business acumen and operational focus.

Educational Qualification and Work Experience
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Instrumentation or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of sales experience in the Valves Pumps or Automation industry.
- At least 10 years of proven success in MRO and service business execution.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in people management preferably in a technical or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated success in field sales and service of industrial valves.
- Experience working with customers in Oil & Gas Pulp & Paper Refining & Petrochemical and Metals & Mining industries.
