Job Description
Job Opportunity: Vascular Surgeon
Join our esteemed team at a leading medical facility in Jackson Michigan known for its commitment to quality and innovation in patient care. Located just 77 miles west of Detroit this hospital is dedicated to providing remarkable healthcare services to the community. We are currently seeking a Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon to be a part of our growing service line.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform surgical procedures related to vascular medicine.
- Engage in both inpatient and outpatient care including rounds and clinic duties.
- Collaborate with a team of two vascular surgeons a nurse practitioner and certified vascular technicians.
- Participate in a call rotation covering nights and weekends on a 1:4 basis.
- Utilize endovascular skills and manage vein cases to enhance patient outcomes.
- Ensure proper documentation using the EPIC EMR system.
Qualifications:
- TRULY Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Vascular Surgery.
- Fellowship-Trained in Vascular Surgery (must be completed prior to start).
- Valid Michigan medical license or willingness to obtain.
- Demonstrable endovascular skills and vein experience (preferred).
- Current COVID and flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain).
- ACLS certification or willingness to obtain.
- Clean malpractice and license history.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current Michigan medical license or willingness to obtain.
- DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start).
- CSR/CDS certification (must be obtained prior to start).
- ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must not have lapsed Board Certifications.
