Our client is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all warehouse operations ensuring efficient planning dispatching fleet supervision and team performance. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily activities to ensure timely deliveries compliance with cross-border regulations and the efficient utilization of warehouse resources.
Key Responsibilities:Supervise warehouse operations including receiving dispatching storage and inventory control.
Coordinate truck dispatching and routing schedules for local and cross-border deliveries.
Lead and manage warehouse staff including general workers and forklift operators.
Ensure all warehouse and fleet activities are performed in line with standard operating procedures.
Conduct daily checks on trucks and forklifts and oversee routine fleet maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of goods in transit and ensure proper documentation for cross-border transportation.
Promote and enforce health safety and housekeeping standards within the warehouse.
Monitor and track vehicle maintenance schedules and proactively address any fleet-related issues.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive operational efficiency.
Allocate workload and set performance expectations for the team.
Minimum of Matric (Grade 12).
Forklift Drivers License essential.
Code 14 Drivers License
Proven experience in warehousing distribution and dispatch coordination.
Knowledge and experience with cross-border logistics processes.
Strong understanding of fleet operations and maintenance.
Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
Strong leadership and team supervision abilities.
High attention to detail.
Proactive and able to work under pressure.
Flexible and adaptable to operational demands.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Solid understanding of warehouse systems and truck processes.
