Job Description

Job Title: Network Cabling Project Manager (PM)

Work Location: In person Seattle WA

Job Type: Full-time

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Cabling Project Manager (PM) to oversee the installation and maintenance of network cabling systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications and low voltage systems with a focus on delivering high-quality results while ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role requires excellent project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate network cabling projects from inception to completion ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.

  • Oversee the installation of fiber optic and copper cabling including fiber splicing and termination.

  • Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate installation of network systems.

  • Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards throughout all projects.

  • Provide technical support for telecommunication systems including troubleshooting issues related to telephone and data services.

  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.

Skills

  • Proficiency in fiber splicing techniques and equipment.

  • Strong understanding of schematics related to network cabling systems.

  • Experience using hand tools specific to cabling installations.

  • Knowledge of NEC regulations as they pertain to low voltage installations.

  • Ability to telecommunicate effectively with team members and clients.

  • Experience working with telephone systems and low voltage wiring.

  • Knowledge of Cisco routers and networking equipment is a plus.

  • Proficient in using an ohmmeter for testing cable integrity.

  • AutoCAD a plus.
