Job Description

At Amazon we are expanding our last-mile network by launching Delivery Stations (DS) XPT and AMPL nationwide to deliver packages to customer. We are looking for a Program Manager in Network Strategy function who works closely with regional operations stakeholders account managers internal teams and customers to manage capacity for all of facilities of AMZL located in Japan.

Network Strategy function is accountable for developing short and long-term strategies for Amazon Logistics network in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. This role will also lead the development of Capacity Planning Program for all of nodes.

Network Strategy is new to the Japan Last Mile team so this role will have a tremendous amount of influence in shaping the teams overall strategy. There are a lot of opportunities to collaborate with Europe and North America team.

Key job responsibilities
Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and effectively influence negotiate and communicate with internal partners
Developing new plans and roadmap to drive network expansion
Cross functional coordination and alignment
Collaborate with Europe and North America teams to share best practices.

- 3 years of program or project management experience
- 3 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3 years of delivering cross functional projects experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros pivots lookups) at an advanced level
- Business level of speaking reading and writing Japanese

- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience in data mining data management reporting and SQL queries
- No resistance to English or able to use business-level English.
