About the Sourcing Team
Our Sourcing team is on a bold journey to become the most trusted and resilient supplier powered by Walmart. Were streamlining our structure fostering a psychologically safe environment and empowering associates to move faster and collaborate more effectively. As part of this superpowered team youll play a key role in driving enterprise-wide impact with the customer at the heart of everything we do.
What youll do:
- Lead develop and grow a high-performing team building capabilities and fostering innovation.
- Build strong partnerships with suppliers merchants and cross-functional teams.
- Set and execute sourcing strategies to drive profitable growth and enhance the customer experience.
- Influence enterprise decisions across replenishment supply chain and assortment.
- Drive product innovation with Product Development for new Private Brand launches.
What youll bring:
- Proven leadership in developing and managing high-performing teams.
- Strong negotiation and influential communication skills.
- Category management and negotiation especially in commodities packaging and food ingredients.
- Project management and strategic planning experience.
- Data-savvy and analytical with the ability to identify sourcing solutions and translate insights into winning strategies.
- Leveraging AI and digital tools to accelerate sourcing strategies.
