Graphic Illustrator ArtistProgram Summary

Job Summary
Designs and develops graphics and illustrations for use in technical materials manuals and publications. Operates computer hardware and software to prepare revise print and store text illustrations graphs charts etc.
May include operation of equipment such as digital cameras for the design and production of photos and videos.
Formulates concept and renders illustration and detail from models sketches memory written or verbal instructions and imagination. Selects type draws lettering lays out material or performs related duties.
Determines style technique and medium best suited to produce desired effects and conform to reproduction requirements or follows specific instructions regarding these variables.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design/Art a related field or equivalent experience plus 2 to 4 years related graphic design/illustration experience.
Must have At least 2-4 years of experience using Adobe Illustrator Photoshop and SolidWorks to create graphics and illustrations for technical manual development.
Candidates must be a citizen of the United States of America and be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and a Common Access Card (CAC).
