What You Will Be Doing:
In this position you will be responsible for managing the Medicaid Program Accounting Unit through subordinate unit supervisors and line staff as well as offer support to all DOH divisions with financial oversight of all Medicaid programs and funding to include all Division of Health Care Services Division of Senior and Disabilities Services and Division of Behavioral Health Medicaid budget expenditures. You will be responsible for managing the Medicaid payment process which averages $60 million paid out weekly through the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) and interfacing with the state accounting Integrated Resource Information System (IRIS). This section must partner with Finance and Management Services in the development of quarterly Medicaid federal reports to facilitate consistency accuracy and timeliness.

The Working Environment You Can Expect:
The current work environment is one day in the office for team interaction and four days working remotely from your home. On-site workdays are located at 4601 Business Park Blvd Bldg. K in Anchorage central for shopping restaurants and commuting. Free parking is also available.
