Role Mission: The Retail Excellence & Operations Lead is responsible for driving operational consistency retail performance visibility and customer-centric excellence across Leicas retail network. This role ensures alignment between systems standards and service enabling stores to deliver on Leicas brand promise while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities: Operational Excellence & Systems Support - Leverage SAP expertise to optimize POS functionality streamline inventory processes and ensure accurate data reporting across retail.
- Train and support store teams on retail systems including POS and clienteling tools to ensure efficient consistent operations.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory reconciliations to maintain inventory accuracy and minimize shrink.
- Monitor and resolve blocked sales to ensure seamless transactions and reliable sales reporting.
- Enforce compliance with global retail SOPs to maintain a consistent operational standard in all locations.
Retail Excellence & Clienteling Accountability - Deploy and sustain retail programs including customer care repair processing Classics Marketplace Speak to an Expert program etc.
- Champion clienteling practices by guiding stores through journey mapping proactive outreach strategies and CRM usage.
- Track and report on retail KPIs such as data capture ATV UPT CRM engagement sales status reports and clienteling conversionensuring accountability and performance follow-through across locations.
- Collaborate with store leadership to translate local engagement into commercial results.
Customer Experience & Brand Protection - Serve as a brand ambassador by modeling Leicas values and ensuring they are embedded in every operational and customer-facing process.
- Partner with store teams to align operational excellence with elevated customer experience and luxury service standards.
Compliance & Reporting - Develop and maintain compliant retail procedures tailored to operational realities.
- Analyze store-level operational costs inventory trends and process flows to identify efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide strategic recommendations on space optimization to support service flow and commercial performance.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration - Drive alignment across retail IT SAP training and global operations to deliver an integrated future-forward retail infrastructure.
- Communicate retail performance trends and insights regularly to key stakeholders backed by accurate and timely reporting.
- Foster a collaborative accountable retail culture through clear expectations and follow-up.
