ABOUT THE ROLE
Based at our headquarters in Racine Wisconsin as the enterprise Learning and Development (L&D) Manager you will lead end-to-end strategy and execution of the learning roadmap for your assigned functions across our business unit(s). You will partner closely with business leaders and HR business partners (HRBPs) to understand business strategy and key capability needs. Through your leadership you will collaboratively develop and manage a portfolio of learning interventions to meet current and future capability needs. You will play an integral role in delivering training programs that are practical repeatable and sustainable. The role serves in an operational and Center of Expertise (CoE) capacity. Our ideal candidate will have a passion to enable SC Johnson people to achieve their full potential and to ensure our programs are consistently great across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In partnership with the Learning Solutions team or vendor partners develop impactful learning solutions that will drive the business strategy. This includes designing developing deploying maintaining and evaluating functional learning solutions.
Deliver world class experience for your internal customers.
Inspire personal accountability for career growth and development whilst promoting and championing SCJs learning interventions and talent tools.
Drive global process optimization and standardization while balancing the business need for local flexibility.
Drive the continual optimization and maturity of learning systems and programs aligned to enterprise and business strategy.
Participate in broader team projects and initiatives to continuously improve L&D programs at SC Johnson.
Leverage Learning Management System and existing tools to eliminate manual processes/work and drive efficiencies.
Align with the business to discover impactful ways for measuring training effectiveness.
Develops a comprehensive menu of training interventions programs and toolkits.
When appropriate advocates for the benefits of existing content maximizing scale and efficiency.
Make recommendations on program changes and conduct cost/benefit analysis of potential operational improvements.
Act as an ambassador and leader for SC Johnson and our mission to be the planets most trusted company at work for a better world.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOULL BRING
Bachelors Degree with 7 Years Learning and Development learning strategy and/or program management experience.
5 Years of experience in developing and executing strategic plans that resulted in measurable outcomes such as increased employee engagement or performance improvement metrics.
5 Years of proven experience in designing and developing scalable learning solutions that align with business goals and drive performance outcomes.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
Excellent Stakeholder management and executive presence with the ability to partner and develop relationships with senior level leadership.
Experience working with Marketing Sales and/or Research and Development functions.
Strong ability to influence and network effectively establishes credibility quickly build strong relationships with peers stakeholders and key client partners.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Strategic data-driven thinker able to recommend solutions.
Ability to collaborate across different levels of the organization including senior levels (e.g. VPs).
Must be able to operate independently but understand when to escalate issues.
Experience interacting in a global and highly matrixed organization.
Masters degree.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Full time with occasional operational support outside core business hours.
Ability to travel 10%.
Position is eligible for remote work once per week for eligible employees
