Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Production Manager/Supervisor. The ideal candidate will be assisting the responsible production manager by supporting to oversee as well as coordinate all production activities in our facilities. Ensuring compliance with quality and efficiency standards as well as managing inventory levels to assure weekly production output represents the core assignment. Supporting activities in general labor as well as core areas of production based on scheduled output targets are expected per the managers discretion. Desired Requirements & Work Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in production preferably in a supervisor role in manufacturing. - Leadership Skills: Prior experience as a team leader capable of motivating and directing a team. - Languages: Proficient in both Spanish and English as the role involves communicating with employees in both languages. - Support the supervision and coordination of daily production activities. - Ensure production quality and safety objectives are met. - Supervise inventory levels to assure weekly production goals. - Monitor and report on team performance and production processes. - Knowledge in Mig-welding; incl. vertical up welds. - Training in forklift handling. Minimum of 6 months. - Experience in industrial painting; incl air gun paint booth applications. Hours: - 40 hrs work week. Monday Friday. 8:00 am 4:00 pm.
